This consultant will be able to change the musician's contract as he see fit.

We also requested that the Louisville Orchestra management do the same. However, management vehemently refuses to be looked at and audited. It would rather seek foreign and non-union musicians.

If you support the Louisville Orchestra musicians, we request that you take the following immediate actions:

Go online and sign our petition. Make sure to leave your thoughts and frustrations in the comments section

Call Mayor Greg Fischer and Council President Jim King (contact information on following page) to tell them that you disagree with the Louisville Orchestra Board of Directors' rash decision to replace the musicians. Leave a message if you get their voicemail.

Send an email to Mayor Greg Fischer and Council President Jim King reiterating that you disagree with Orchestra Board's decision.

Repost this announcement on your Facebook, Twitter, and any other social accounts announcing this move by the Board. Ask your friends urgently to repost, sign the petition and follow these same requests.

This is an incredibly time sensitive matter, and we ask that you take a stand this evening, and show your support for the orchestra musicians.

With the Courier-Journal story hitting early tomorrow morning, it is crucial to get our message out this evening and apply as much pressure as possible to Mayor Fischer, specifically Councilman Jim King, the remaining Metro Council members, and the Louisville Orchestra's Board of Directors and management.

Thank you for your support, and for getting behind the music.
