To be considered, all application materials must be received on or before February 15, 2011. Repertoire listed here.

The competition is for oboists who have not reached their 31st birthday by the date of the final round of the competition (June 3rd, 2011) and will take place at the annual conference May 31-June 4, 2011 in Tempe, AZ, USA. First prize for the 2011 competition is a $10,000 US cash award. The second prize is a $6000 US cash award. The third prize is a $2000 US cash award. The winner of second prize was Camille Joutard, a student of Jean-Louis Capezzali and Jérôme Guichard at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon, France.

The winner of third prize was Matthew Lengas, a student of Richard Killmer at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

Gina Ford, who was designated as a finalist in the competition, was unable to participate in the final round due to travel problems which prevented her from reaching the conference.
