My name is Ian Hopkin, and I am a bassoon student living in Halifax Nova Scotia, and I believe I am playing your old black Polisi bassoon that you auditioned for the Principle position in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with. It belonged to my aunt “Barb Hopkin” who played it through school and university, and she said that her parents bought it for her, second hand from you. I saw your name in the forums at one point and have been meaning to write an entry that hopefully you will come across and find interesting.
