(Among Chris Weait's many interesting musical projects of recent years is an excellent bit of research into the history of his orchestra, the Toronto Symphony, where he has been Co-Principal bassoon, with Nicholas Kilburn, since 1968: A MASTER LIST OF PERSONNEL, 1922-1972. In a recent phone interview with Chris, I asked him for an updating on the double reeds since 1972 for this article. Every important orchestra of long standing should have in its archives similar lists of past and present personnel.
