1) is of Gunther Angerhöfer performing on an 18th-century fagott with William Waterhouse at the harpsichord. Numbers two and three show the unusual first ever North American Bassoon Quartet with French bassoons:
2) Normal lens photo (distant group): the group about to begin Michel Corette's richly admired "le Phenix" Concerto with Lindsay Sinclair at the harpsichord.
3) Telephoto lens (recognizable faces): taken just at the end of one of the 4 quartet compositions performed by the ensemble. The bassoonists are, from left to right, Kim Laskowski (Brooklyn); Gerald Corey (Ottawa) Ronald Klimko (Moscow, Idaho) and Charles Holdeman (Wilmington, Delaware). Rehearsals (hard to arrange) were held at New York City and Edinburgh, Scotland.
