Dormitory accommodations are a 10 minute walk from the Fine Arts Center and are available for $8.50 per person per night for multiple occupancy and $14.00 per person per might for single occupancy. (Note: these rates are tentative.) Linens, blankets, and pillows are provided. Check-in time is 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15 and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20. There are also a number of hotels within short driving distances of the conference site. The Quality Inn in Towson (301-825-9192) is offering special reates ($49.50 single, $53.50 double) to IDRS participants (includes use of indoor pool.)
Dining facilities are adjacent to the dormitories. Meal Tickets are $11.78 per day per person. (Price is tentative.)
Towson State University is 10 minutes north of downtown Baltimore, one hour from Washington, D.C., one and a half hours from Philadelphia and three hours from New York City.
Hourly limousine (bus) service is available from Baltimore-Washington International Airport. People arriving by train or bus may take a city bus or taxi to the University. Ample prking is available at the University.
