The University of Miami at Coral Gables announces an INTERNATIONAL OBOE SYMPOSIUM. Directed by JULIEN BALOGH, Artist in Residence and Professor of Oboe at the University of Miami, the workshop will include master classes, performances, and demonstrations. An elite group of artists has been assembled, including ROBERT BLOOM, solo oboist of the Bach Aria Group and Professor of Oboe at Yale University; RAY STILL, solo oboist of the Chicago Symphony; JOHN MACK, solo oboist of the Cleveland Orchestra; and JOHN DELANCIE, solo oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
