It is with the greatest of sadness we
hear of the recent sudden death of the well-known French bassoon
soloist with the Orchestre Nationale de Lyon, Jacques Hennequin. The
I.D.R.S. extends its deepest sympathy to Madame Hennequin and her
family. We hope to have an obituary in the Fall issue of the Double Reed
