Op. 67, No. 2" and Villa-Lobos' "Quinteto en forma de choros".
(EMI 06134091)
- A stunning performance, especially of the two Ligeti works, which should
soon become standard in the repertoire of better wind quintets. (Schott is
preparing the "Ten Pieces" and might publish the "Bagatelles"
if enough requests are received.)

Major for Bassoon. (Originally Club Francais du Disque, Pans. Nonesuch
H-71080).
- Beautifully interpreted performance with the Chamber Orchestra of
Versailles. Bernard Wahl, conductor.
- Gerhard Haase - Mozart Concerto, KV 191. Prague Chamber
Orchestra without conductor. (Christophorus SCGLP 75887)
- Arnold Swillens - Mozart Concerto, KV 191. Orchester der
Niederl@ndischen Kantorei, conducted by Maarten Kooy. (Intercontinental Records

oboe in Concerto for Oboe, Trumpet Bassoon and String Orchestra in D Major
by Francesco Biscogli. Orchestre de Chambre Jean-Francois Paillard. (Erato
Stereo STU 70356)
- The music of a practically unknown composer, this concerto is very
effective with its high lyric trumpet line contrasted with virtuosic and
interesting solos for oboe and bassoon. The music is also available now, from
Musica Rara in London.
