Policies of the IDRS

(Determined at two meetings of the Executive Board August 19-20, 1973. These policies were discussed and approved by the members attending the conference.)

1. The fiscal year begins with the calendar year, January 1. Membership dues received as late as December entitle the member to the newsletters and Journal of that year, not the following year.

2. Those members who wish to subscribe to both newsletters may do so by paying to the IDRS treasurer an additional $2.25 with membership dues. (Higher printing and mailing costs make this increase necessary.)

3. Back issues of the newsletters may be obtained at $ 1.00 each. (Order directly from the editor of TTWO or TTWB.)

4. Copies of the Journal may be purchased for $4.00; they may be ordered from Dan Stolper. (Non-members of IDRS may purchase the Journal for $5.00.)

5. Special foreign memberships (for residents of countries other than the US and Canada) will be made available to those interested. The annual fees will include $4.00 (US) plus air mail postage for three issues of the newsletters and an additional $4.00 (US) for the Journal.

6. It was suggested that the 1974 annual meeting be held in conjunction with the International Oboists' Symposium in June in Coral Gables, Florida. This idea is currently in discussion.

7. Daniel Stolper will continue to investigate the non-profit status of the IDRS.

8. If more than one name is proposed for an office during election of officers, ballots will be mailed to the entire membership .

9. Interim reports (memoranda) shall be sent to the membership for information to IDRS members between publications.

10. Contributing members of IDRS may receive as many as five extra copies of the Journal.
