Topic: Poll: Mozart Marriage of Figaro overture (Bassoon)

In measure 162, do you use the "normal" fingering for the F# (front or back, doesn't matter to me) or the "trill" fingering with the Eb key?

I wish I could make a real poll.

Just interested to see what you all did, as I can't decide if I want to change my game up at this stage.

I use my "normal" fingering (F# with thumb key) in measure 162.  I use "normal" fingerings throughout these passages with the exception of using the trill D# (LH 1 & 2 + C# + low D + whisper) in measure 161 when I don't have the practice time to get that measure smooth with normal fingerings.

I use Front F# and just left hand Eb (1 & 3) without the pinky Eb.

My forked only Eb is scary stable these days. I don't know if it's my reeds, my bocal, my instrument, or what, but I'm using it more and more the last couple months because I just can and it sounds just fine... I blame Stanislav Katenin.
