Topic: Berlioz Symphony Fantastique High A natural/B natural trill

Hi Bassoonists

Can anyone tell me what there best easiest sounding trill is for 13 measures after rehearsal 83 in the fifth movement? Its goes from high A trill to E natural trill.

Thanks

This is a pet peeve of mine! I've heard recordings where a half step trill is played! Off with their heads!

That first trill from Bob works great on the solo in Nutcracker, second act!

Here's the one I use:

Start normal A and switch to this B, then trill left hand 2,3:

   Eb
X00/00X  Low E
high C
