Topic: Baroque Rackett

Does anybody make a Baroque Rackett anymore? I have read that Moeck closed its early instrument shop in 2008, I guess they had an A=440 conical bored instrument. Also... I found two makers of the Renassaince type, is there a maker that is preferred by players? thanks!

Re: Baroque Rackett

Dan Deitch makes one, I believe.  He's in San Francisco.  Let me know what happens.

I have a Moeck, and the problem is it's at 440, and there's nobody else to play it with (that, and the ridiculously illogical fingerings).

I found Racketts at Renaissance Workshops Company in the UK too.

You can buy a kit!  or a finished one.

Excellent! It would be fun to finish one.
