Topic: Long-term cane storage
I recently purchased a couple different varieties of some very good cane in large amounts. I'll be storing about 300 pieces of gouged cane for future use. But since I've always been a "purchase as you go" kind of reed maker, I have no experience holding cane for long periods of time.
Does anyone have any advice for long-term cane storage? I want to make sure that I preserve the quality of the cane, and ideally even improve on it.
