Topic: 2018 Scholarship at UNCSA- Bassoon Grad Assistant & Quintet Fellowship

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts has openings in the bassoon studio for the Graduate Assistantship and Chrysalis Institute Wind Quintet Fellowship beginning fall of 2018. With these awards comes either a full tuition reduction out of state tuition waiver and additional scholarship awards.

The School of Music at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts offers the Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and a post-graduate Professional Artist Certificate for Bassoon. The graduate assistantship is available beginning in the 2018-2019 academic year and works closely with Saxton Rose with 3 hours of weekly duties including instruction, ensemble assignments, administrative work, and reed room supervision. The Chrysalis Institute Wind Quintet Fellowship bassoonist performs as part of the quintet, participates in international competitions, outreach activities and works with our partner institution Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at UNCSA and in NYC. … index.aspx
