Topic: a "playground" topic for people to do testing?

Yoshi,

So far there have been at least 4 or 5 "test messages" that people have posted in different topics / forums.  There's certainly nothing wrong with wanting to play around and test stuff -- how else will people get comfortable with this format? -- but I wonder if it might be nicer to have a Playground (or Test area -- whatever name makes sense and gets the point across) for people to do such things?

Just an idea.  I'm thoroughly enjoying this whole forum, and it seems a lot of people are coming over to give it a try!

Susan,

This is a great idea.  I've been able to insert photos in these posts but I couldn' get the smilies to show up.  For example, I type this
smile  or wink  but I don't get the smilies even though the tag below says smilies are on.  Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Well, there you go.... they worked after all.  Funny, I tried them in another thread yesterday but they didn't work.  Guess it must be working now.
