Topic: Gouging Books?

I am teaching a few advanced H.S. students how to use a gouging machine.  Though they are taking notes, they have asked for a "text" that they can use for future reference, and I know of none.  All my training was of the "hands on" variety.

Can anyone recommend a book or website dedicated (at least in part) to the ins and outs of oboe cane gouging?  Topics might include: gouger operation and maintenance, effects of different gouge dimensions on finished reeds, singe vs. double radius gougers, blade/guide shapes, manufacturers, etc.

Perhaps these topics are included in one or more of the general "reed making" publications currently available?

Thanks in advance!

There's quite a bit of info in the Sprenkle/Ledet book, "The Art of Oboe Playing," complete with those lovely photographs and illustrations. Of course, the book is nearly 50 years old, but then again, so is the technology.
