Topic: Interlochen Arts Academy now enrolling oboe and bassoon students

Interlochen Arts Academy, a fine arts boarding high school is now enrolling oboe and bassoon students,  grades 9 -12 for the 2009-10 school year. Programs focus on training for major ensembles, weekly lessons, and studio classes that enable students to have the maximum possible contact with their studio teachers.  By approaching each student's individual abilities, the faculty attempts to realize the student's personal and professional goals. Student performance is emphasized as an integral part of the learning process. Challenging and comprehensive college-preparatory academics complement and enrich artistic experiences. The faculty expand students' understanding of the world by engaging their strengths as creative learners.
