Re: Help us prevent SPAM

Hi, Yoshi,

Today I saw "sticky" in front of several topics.  What does that mean?

Sticky means that the message will remain on top of the list. Thanks for keeping your eyes on the Forum!

Spam posted today from username "joetraff".
What at first glance appear to be legitimate posts are merely copy/paste of previous posts being used as camouflage.

Re: Help us prevent SPAM

Don't miss the 39th Annual Conference of the International Double Reed Society. If you're flying to Oklahoma City, Will Rogers Airport and need to take a shuttle, find some other double reed players and share a ride with AIRPORT EXPRESS. The price is $38 for the first person and $3 for every other person. Sounds like a good way to split the costs.
See you in Norman!

hey guys, I have a suggestion,..why not moderate first the posts before making it viewable? i mean, it should be checked first by the moderators before it can be seen by the public so that if its a spam then it will be deleted directly...

This user is just spamming. Not legit.

One of his posts:

I use the report feature frequently on spam posts, but I'm not sure they are being read. Saxton/Yoshi, are one of you getting emailed or anything when those reports are filed?
