Topic: Eb3 to G3 shake fingering

I'm looking for a good shake fingering for Eb3 to G3 (in the staff). It's in the 2nd bassoon part for the cello concerto 'Schelomo' by Bloch. I can't find my copy of Corey's trill/shake fingering book, and couldn't find anything on the IDRS website. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Karmen

Re: Eb3 to G3 shake fingering

Put on your whisper key lock. Play Eb without the resonance key but with your first or second finger in your right hand for the full Eb plus the Bb key. Use the "A" vent key with your left thumb to tremelo. If this doesn't work let me know and I'll come up with something else, but Schoenbach showed that one to me straight for R. Strauss for Ein heldenleben.

Re: Eb3 to G3 shake fingering

Basically what I used was the same as Vincent's suggestion, but without the RH extra keys and I added the Eb resonance key, and I used my right thumb to trill the A flick key.  I had to lip down the Eb slightly, but aside from that it worked well.
