Indeed. I've had one several months and have found it a real time-saver: as well as an indicator of how unevenly I often work the blade! It's really a must for those of us who love gadgets...

I know what I want from my scholarship money this semester!!!! That and my Bonna Bassoon case. and that thing that cuts the tip of the reeds (I call it a Guillotine)

Hi All,

It seems to me that I have (somewhere) a lighted bassoon plaque that I purchased from Don Christlieb's catalog years ago. It wasn't nearly as fancy as it was a translucent plastic plaque on the end of a penlight shaft, basically a flashlight with a plaque on the end.

I think it cost around $15.

Forrests brought them by to CSUF's Double Reed Day this year.... they work like a dream. I still want one. I didn't have enough money to buy one.... but they are quite awesome. big_smile
