Topic: The John Williams Oboe Concerto

http://www.boosey.com/pages/shop/compos … site-lang=

An oboist friend heard the new Williams Oboe Concerto which I just posted on the forum, and would like to work on it.   I don't see it posted at the above link, but I don't see "Five Sacred Trees" there either.   Might the solo oboe part be posted somewhere else?  What about the "Five Sacred Trees."  Where might that be found?   Would it be rental only?

Thanks,

Dlemar

Re: The John Williams Oboe Concerto

A friend had sent me the link of Kesuke (?) playing it but when I went to listen, it had been removed. I too would love to hear it and see it. Cannot seem to find it.

Re: The John Williams Oboe Concerto

The Five Sacred Trees is available for purchase (Bsn/Pn) from all music dealers.  I know TrevCo-Varner keeps plenty on stock at all times.  Williams' The Days Between for Ob/Pn is also available for purchase but I do not see the Oboe Concerto listed yet.  I am presuming this too will eventually be available soon.  Orchestra sets for both are rental only.
