Topic: English Horn Octave Drop

Hi All, I have a Buffet-Crampon English Horn, full conservatory system.  I play on a Loree #1 bocal as it is the only thing I have tried that can play a high B and C in tune.  I have tried several Hiniker Bocals, a Laubin Bocal, Loree #2, and some I can't remember.  Without my Loree #1 the pitch is very sharp and as you bring it down they drop to the lower octave.  Is this a bocal issue? reed issue? The rest of the range plays in tune and is stable with other bocals.  The problem is only on the High B and C.  Thanks!
