Topic: IDRS Conference 2017

Any word on when the announcement will be made as to whether one's proposal has been accepted or not?

Do we get informed if our proposal wasn't accepted?

Yes--Carl Rath told me that they're behind, but they should be notifying people by the end of January. So, we'll hear some time next week.

Has anyone received a notification yet about their proposal? I haven't.

Re: IDRS Conference 2017

Christopher, Carl has let me know that letters would be being sent out very soon. Starting next week. With Howard being on medical leave this term (and maybe more) it's been more difficult for them to do the planning than normal.

Re: IDRS Conference 2017

Thanks, Trent. I found out yesterday that they have no record of my having sent in a proposal!! Carl was kind enough to send me an email saying he didn't see my name on the list.

Needless to say, I quick sent him the files that I submitted--or thought I did--on the website in November. Not sure if I'll still be considered or not.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.
