The University of Wisconsin-Madison Mead Witter School of Music seeks candidates for a non-tenure track, minimum 50% position, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Oboe. This is a one-year appointment with possibility of renewal. This position includes studio instruction in oboe, performing with the Wingra Wind Quintet (one of the School’s ensembles-in-residence), and ongoing recruitment activities. Duties may include teaching double reed fundamentals for undergraduate Music Education majors, coaching chamber music, and other possible courses as needed. Masters-level degree required, previous college-level teaching experience preferred.
