Topic: re corking staples

In the deep dark recesses of my mind I seem to recall a few places that would recork favorite old staples.  I can't remember who they were.   In hopes that there is someone out there with a better memory than mine.

Thanks

Re: re corking staples

There is a website:  http://oboetube.com/ that offers an alternative to cork.  It's called the Nissen Tube.  You can use your own tubes but they sell a plastic part that mounts on the tube.  Rubber rings makes the tube fit firmly in the oboe.  There is also a bocal version of this.

I have not tried these but you might want to give them a try.  Has anyone on the list tried these?
