2011-2013 Auditions

The University of Arizona School of Music is pleased to announce auditions for the 2011-2013 Arizona Graduate Wind Quintet. The ensemble has won prizes in the Coleman and MTNA competitions and performs regionally and internationally as ambassadors for the University of Arizona.

Members of the quintet receive a financial award in the amount of $27,391. This Graduate Assistantship includes a tuition remission of nonresident and one-half of resident tuition, full individual health insurance and an annual stipend of $5825.


Arizona Graduate Winds performers must be full-time master’s students, working towards a performance degree in their primary instrument. The student ensemble is coached by members of the Arizona Wind Quintet, a faculty ensemble. In addition to their performance duties, members of the Arizona Graduate Winds work with supervising faculty in promotional, entrepreneurial, and technical facets of the chamber music industry.
