Master of Music in Bassoon Performance 2011-2012 Academic Year

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach applied students and/or methods class; perform in regularly- scheduled chamber music classes; assist with departmental or research duties; or assist in the instrumental division.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES: Recitals; Chamber Music; Baylor Symphony; Wind Ensemble; Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensembles, Waco Symphony

STIPEND AND TUITION REMISSION: Stipends and tuition remisison combine for a total of up to $24,245 for a full assistantship for two semesters. The full-time graduate assistantship tuition waiver covers all 30 hours of the degree, except for remedial courses in music history and music theory. The stipend is awarded for eight months and provides the student with approximately $810 per month for expenses. Assistantships are renewable for a second year. Partial assistantships may be offered.
