I am unable to articulate the sixteenth note passages in the first movement of the Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony. Our conductor takes it at a dotted eighth equals 80. I can neither single-tongue nor double-tongue fast enough the several passages where this occurs to keep synched with the beat. I consistently fall behind and things get sloppy in a hurry. There’s also not enough time to grab breaths. (I don’t circular breathe.) Any advice? Alternate with the 2nd bassoon?

Make that a dotted quarter equals 80.
