Bio: Ronald Roseman (oboe) is internationally known as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. His more than 55 solo and chamber music recordings include discs for VOX, Desto, and Nonesuch. A professor at the Aaron Copland School of Music and the Yale University School of Music, he also serves on the faculty of the Juilliard School. As a member of the New York Woodwind Quintet since 1961,Carl Rath he has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. Roseman is also the oboist with the Bach Aria Group and sewed for two years as acting principal oboist with the New York Philharmonic. He has performed with the Juilliard, Tokyo, Guarneri, Lenox, Fine Arts, and Composer's String Quartets and has appeared as a guest artist with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and Speculum Musicae. He has also appeared at the Casals, Aspen, Waterloo, Young Pyung, Kuhmo, Norfolk, Bowdoin, and Grand Canyon music festivals.
