Fair Winds is stationed in Great Lakes, IL. Through chamber recitals, school concerts, and ceremonies, Fair Winds advances the mission of US Navy Fleet Bands by honoring military traditions, providing a connection for the families of deployed service members, and raising awareness of the Navy throughout the American Midwest. Navy Band Great Lakes celebrates our newest shipmates graduating from Recruit Training Command, brings the face of the Navy to Midwest Main Street, and provides a vehicle to honor veterans and connect communities through the unique power of music.
