Northern Arizona University is located in Flagstaff, Arizona, at the base of the majestic San Francisco Peaks (12,637 feet/3,852 meters). Enjoy every aspect of the conference, and while you’re here, explore miles of hiking and biking trails shared by locals, tourists, and Olympic athletes. Indulge your inner foodie at downtown Flagstaff’s many eateries and microbreweries, just walking distance from campus. As the World’s first International Dark Sky City, Flagstaff is home to Lowell Observatory. A few miles away are Arizona Snowbowl, Meteor Crater Natural Landmark, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, Route 66, and Walnut Canyon National Monument. Take the switchbacks through Oak Creek Canyon to visit the Red Rocks of Sedona or a day trip to visit Antelope Canyon or the spectacular Grand Canyon National Park.
