Registration for conference attendees and exhibitors will be open February 2026 onwards.
Can I register on-site?
Yes, you can register for the conference when you arrive, but we encourage all attendees to register in advance if possible. There is no deadline to register for the conference, but the deadline to reserve on-campus housing is June 5, 2026.
Will accompanists and other collaborative artists need to register to perform?
Assisting artists (accompanists, other collaborative artists who are not double reed players) will have their registration fee waived for the day that they perform. If they wish to attend additional days of the conference, they must pay registration fees for those days.
Will composers need to register to attend the performance of their composition?
Composers whose works are being performed will have their registration fee waived for the day that their composition is performed. If they wish to attend additional days of the conference, they must pay registration fees for those days.
Does IDRS waive the registration fee for Conference Artists (performers)?
IDRS is unable to provide funds toward expenses involved in participating in the conference. All conference performers who are double reed players must be a member of IDRS and register for the conference. IDRS encourages seeking outside funding or sponsorship to attend.
Does IDRS provide any financial support for conference attendees?
For existing financial support opportunities through IDRS, please see the IDRS “Sponsor A Member” Program and “50 for 50 Commissioning Grants.” The next applications for the IDRS Conference Student Scholarship Grants will be available for IDRS 2027 onwards.
I am bringing a group of students. Can I get a discount on registration?
Yes! If a teacher or school is bringing a group of eight (8) or more IDRS student members, the students can receive 20% off the Regular Registration fee (not available during Early Bird registration period; only applies to the students’ registration, not to the teacher’s). All students in the group must be full-time students and must be IDRS members. To receive this discount, please email idrs2026@idrs.org prior to completing the registration form.
