The International Double Reed Society is pleased to announce the repertoire for the Young Artists performance competition being held for bassoonists in the summer of 2011 at the annual conference May 31-June 4, 2011 in Tempe, AZ, USA. Bassoonists who have not reached their 22nd birthday by the date of the final round of the competition (June 2, 2011) are eligible to enter. First prize for the 2011 competition is a $3000 US cash award. The second prize is a $2000 US cash award. The third prize is a $1000 US cash award.
