    Hello!

I play baroque bassoon (Leslie Ross Eichentopf) in the Wisconsin Baroque Ensemble based in Madison, Wisconsin. Our performers vary depending on availability, but this year we seem to have more flautists and no oboists or violinists. I’m wondering if any of you have recommendations for repertoire using flute and bassoon, something other than the Telemann Quartet in Fminor. We have a healthy continuo group (harpsichord, cello and gamba) and also a soprano or two. Generally, these folks tend toward historical accuracy, but I’ve convinced the flutes to at least try a Zelenka Trio Sonata even though it’s intended for oboe. Thanks for any other thoughts.

    Cindy Cameron-Fix
