I am looking for a reccommendation for a bassoon and guitar piece to perform for a recital. I know there is a lot of music for this duo out there, but I’d rather an opinion from people who have played/heard something rather than picking music blindly. I am not interested in the Goepfert. I would like more of a Latin flare. Preferably under ten minutes and not terribly taxing to play.

Yvonne Kershaw has a CD with every piece this instrumentation. Some very nice Latin pieces as well as other styles of music.
