Just bought this old profiler via the internet a few minutes ago, so I haven’t seen it yet “in the flesh.” Apparently there’s no name or manufacturer’s mark on it (although it looks vaguely like early Rieger or early Michel). Does anyone recognize the workmanship?

I believe that Rieger made this profiler.

I agree, it looks similar enough to the current Rieger profiler that I would assume they made it. You can contact them, they are usually very helpful. http://www.georgrieger.com is their website.

Actually, it turns out to be a Sassenberg.
