Here is the Musicalchairs ad that has photos: https://www.musicalchairs.info/sales/12236?ref=5

Early 9000 series Heckel, made in 1948, first purchased by the principal bassoonist of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, who had the bassoon refinished by Puchner in 1987 (sadly the crest was stripped then). More recently, it has been played professionally throughout NYC for the past six years.

The bassoon has a dark yet resonant sound characteristic to other 9000s and has a very even scale throughout.

The keywork is original and in excellent condition. The bassoon has been expertly maintained on a regular basis by Oleksiy Zakharov and Charles Huebner, who gave it a full overhaul in 2018 and added a high E key and an A bridge.

Two Heckel bocals (VCD2 and CC1) are included with the instrument, along with the pictured Bonna case. Bell is made of the original ivory.

Audio/video samples and additional photos available upon request.

Asking $47,000. Trials available in NYC. Possible arrangements could be made to ship for a trial, but those details would need to be discussed.
