The right-hand Bb thumb key, shown in grey, can be omitted based on technical needs of the situation. These fingerings can be played without the whisper key. The size of the left-hand half hole with the first finger may be smaller or larger depending on the reed and the dynamic level. The fourth fingering is particularly useful when slurring to or from C#/Db5.
