Comments: So sad to announce that Bell Bassoon #24, owned by the Conservatoire de Gatineau, has been stolen. It was last seen on Friday Sept 21 2012 in the Conservatoire de Gatineau in Quebec Canada. (near Ottawa) Bell Bassoon #24 is nicknamed "la Blonde" for its distinctive light brown/yellow colour. It also has some very distinctive key work and was originally custom made for Rick Ranti. It was purchased by the Conservatoire de Gatineau in January 2011, and it is a gentleman's model bassoon in a Marcus Bona case. Whoever took this bassoon has no idea how difficult it will be to sell or even to use since it is so recognizable! We are praying they will not trash it. It is a beautiful bassoon! Jo Ann Simpson
