IDRS is seeking self-nominations of members who are interested in being considered for one of the three positions on the Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors.

Three members will be elected to join the three appointed members, as designated in the Code of Regulations and described below:
Section 5a. Nominating Committee (2022 and beyond). A nominating committee of six members will be assembled to facilitate and implement the election process. The committee will be charged with recruiting and evaluating candidates for all open board positions. The committee will include: Immediate Past President (chair), President, Chair of the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee, and three outside members to be elected by the membership. The nominating committee will nominate the slate of candidates to replace those directors whose terms are set to expire. It is expected the Vice President will become the nominee for President during the nomination process in their final year as Vice President.
All current IDRS At Large Board Directors are eligible for term extension to serve from January 2024 to December 2025. The nominating committee established this year will review current at-large Board members and make recommendations for either term extension or opening positions up for membership election.
This six member Nominating Committee will be responsible for either approving term extensions of current At Large Board Directors or compiling the full slate of new At Large Board nominees. The work of this Nominating Committee will mainly occur in November before the election process.
Self-nominations to serve on the Nominating Committee must be received by October 15, 2023. Any IDRS member who has already served as a Nominating Committee member or is interested in being considered for an At Large position on the Board of Directors should not fill out this form.
