Description:In 1975 I ground the PI tip (originally wide from Walt) the second time, down to .356 at the narrowest place. The smaller blades (than LM) and tube narrower than LK made the tip more suitable for the Pr 71 cane now too thin than either of those Heckel shapes. It was then found that the Pr S, still smaller, worked better with the thin cane. Crow f.
