| A brief biography: | Daniel Aguilar is a second-year dual master’s student at the University of Oklahoma, pursuing degrees in Music Theory and Oboe Performance, where he studies with Dr. Shawn Welk. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating with distinction in oboe performance under the instruction of Professor Erin Mallard. Daniel has performed internationally at the Interharmony Music Festival in Italy and the International Chamber Workshop in France, studying with Robert Morgan and Bertrand Grenat. He also participated in a masterclass with Toyin Spellman-Diaz at the 2025 International Double Reed Society Conference.
