| A brief biography: | My name is Joshua Van Horn. I am currently a sophomore music education major at Wright State University with a my primary instrument being oboe. I am 20 years old and grew up in Cincinnati before moving to attend Wright State for schooling. I recently won my schools concerto Aria Night Competition and enjoyed performing the Marcello Concerto in C minor with our schools symphony orchestra. In my time on college, I have also prepared in performed works by Britten, Saint Saens, Paladihle, and Mozart. Otherwise I enjoy spending my time teaching and playing a variety of instruments in the Dayton area. |
