| A brief biography: | Maddie Wittman is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Music Performance. She will be attending Kansas State University in the fall to pursue her Master of Music Performance degree. While at Kansas State, she will serve as a Graduate Assistant in Marketing and hold a reed making internship with MKL Reeds. Wittman is currently based in Columbus, Ohio and has taught privately since she established her studio in 2023. With her students, Wittman focuses on musicianship, fundamentals, musicality, and the importance of a good reed. Ms. Wittman has attended the Lucarelli Oboe Masterclass and held a position with the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra during their 50th season. |
