| A brief biography: | I recently graduated from Michigan State University with bachelor’s degrees in oboe performance and Spanish, and am currently finishing the first year of my master’s degree in musicology and library science at Indiana University. Although I have redirected my studies to focus on musicology, I am still an avid performer, and have continued to take lessons on Baroque and modern oboe. My studies in musicology have continued to inform my performance on oboe, and as my career progresses, I hope to continue performing. I greatly treasure the experiences I have had performing in masterclasses throughout my undergraduate degree, and I would greatly value the perspectives I would gain in the opportunity to perform in a masterclass at IDRS. |
